Choose your transport
Flying is fastest from most cities; İZBAN reaches the center from the airport in 30 minutes. The bus terminal connects to Konak by metro. Driving takes about 4 hours from Istanbul, 6 from Ankara.
A sample two-day schedule
Day 1: arrive in the afternoon and settle in. Day 2: morning examination, same-day imaging if needed, then return or stay one more night. Keep your return flexible until the plan is clear.
Before the appointment
Prepare MRI/CT images (CD or digital link), reports and your medication list. Sending images in advance via WhatsApp speeds up the first assessment.
Should a companion come?
Not required for an examination; if a procedure is planned, a relative along is practical and reassuring. Book a place for the companion too.
On the way back
On long drives, take a walking break every 1.5-2 hours. If flying, leave early with traffic margin.
